Michael has a sound grasp on Te Reo Māori and Te Reo Pakeha. He is learning to use language features to enhance his writing, in both languages. He has a basic understanding of nouns, adjectives, and verbs. He is still learning to use these in his writing and to identify their use in texts he reads.
Work with problems involving squared numbers and power numbers.

Michael enjoys maths as a learning area, and is very capable in this subject. He has a good positive attitude when taking on new learning, and I am glad he enjoys these challenges. He is gaining confidence in these problems, and is learning to work on these problems independently.
