Identify the correct āhuatanga reo to be used in each genre
| Yes Not Yet |
Michael has a sound grasp on Te Reo Māori and Te Reo Pakeha. He is learning to use language features to enhance his writing, in both languages. He has a basic understanding of nouns, adjectives, and verbs. He is still learning to use these in his writing and to identify their use in texts he reads.

Work with problems involving squared numbers and power numbers. | Yes Not Yet | Michael enjoys maths as a learning area, and is very capable in this subject. He has a good positive attitude when taking on new learning, and I am glad he enjoys these challenges. He is gaining confidence in these problems, and is learning to work on these problems independently. |
Stay on task and finish my work on time | Not Yet | He ihumanea a Michael. He koi tana hinengaro, he maha hoki ana pūkenga i roto i ngā marautanga katoa. Heoi anō ko tana tino raru, ko ana hoa ako. Ko tāku hei akiaki i a ia, kia ū ki ngā mahi o te kura hei oranga mōu. Hei aha te whaiwhai haere i ngā hoa, māu anō to huarahi e takahi. |
Speak Te Reo Māori when I am in Te Huringa. | Yes Not Yet | E ngana tonu ana a Michael ki tēnei o ngā whainga. Ko tāku noa, me whakatauiratia i ngā āhuatanga tika o te tamaiti rūmaki kātahi, me whakatairangatia hoki i tō mana Māori motuhake. |
